NOH8

Semester at Sea Student are grappling with the big issues;

Diversity, Multiculturalism, Tolerance, Acceptance, topics present on every college campus.
On SAS F11, Voyagers are deepening their respect for and appreciation of differences as we circumnavigation the world.
As students gain perspective on issues back at home, they decided to start spreading the message of equality now, organizing a 'NOH8" photo shoot.

The NOH8 photographic portrait project originally began as a protest to Proposition 8 Ð the banning of same sex marriage in California, it has now expanded to combat all forms of discrimination.
The anti-bullying campaign features celebrities and other activists with tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with "NOH8" painted on one cheek.
